Salmon production hits record high in 2012

The production of farmed salmon from the Faroe Islands hit a record high in 2012. The total amount produced in 2012 was 62.783 tons in gutted weight compared to 49.588 tons in 2011. This is an increase in production of more than 20 per cent.
